Chelsea Young’s Bio
Chelsea Young, a native of Jackson, MS, is the founder of local Mississippi arts organization Musical Expressions Experience. Chelsea is an artist at heart who strives to place arts education into the hands of our Mississippi youth through music. Through Chelsea’s passion for music and love of art she combines the two into her artwork. Through real life experiences, Chelsea expresses and showcases her daily task through her art pieces. Chelsea began painting as a child and never stopped. She enjoys painting landscapes and portraits, drawn in by acrylics and their ever-expanding palettes and mediums. Chelsea’s passion is to introduce another culture of art and provide dynamic learning experiences that will instill an appreciation for the arts.
